Summer Courses will be offered at Bernice MacNaughton High School, 999 St. George St., Moncton.
Classes will be from 8:00 AM to 9:35 AM. and 9:40 to 11:15. Students can register for 1 or 2 of the 95 minute classes.
Courses in Math and English will be offered to students from Grades 6 to 12. Other courses, including Social Studies, History, Science, Chemistry, Physics and Biology may also be offered. However, any course with sufficient enrollments will be offered.
The courses will be available to those students who have failed a credit or grade and those who have passed but wish to improve a mark in order to better prepare for the next grade or to meet post-secondary entrance requirements. Attendance is mandatory and students absent for more than 2 classes may be withdrawn by the Summer School Director.
Students in grades 6 to 8 must have the signature of their principal on their application forms if they were not promoted. No signature is required for students who were promoted and are attending to improve.
Grade 9 students must be recommended for summer school by the signature of a teacher or administrator on either their application form or their report card.
Grades 10, 11 & 12 students who have attained a mark of at least 50 in the course for which they are registering must bring their report card when registering. Those who have marks below 50 must also have the permission and signature of their Principal or Vice-Principal.
Students who have passed a course may attend for improvement in order to better prepare for the next course or to meet minimum post-secondary standards.

Fees are refundable only if the student withdraws in the first week of classes.
