Student Enrichment

Student enrichment activities in School District 2 include:

• Bridge Tournament for all students.
• Chess Tournament for all students.
• Congregated Days for students with similar interests in grades 1-12.
• District 2 Collaborative High School Drama for students in grades 9-12.
• Elementary, Middle, and High School Drama Festivals for all students.
• Hackmatack for students in grades 4-6.
• Heritage Fair for students in grades K-8.
• Middle and High School Public Speaking for students in grades 5-12.
• Northrop Frye Festival for all students.
• Rynn Gunn Write for Fun for students in grades 3-5.
• Science Olympics for students in grades 5-8. The Science Olympics allows students to become involved in open-ended problem solving. It requires them to come up with solutions to specific problems using scientific knowledge and creativity while having to work within certain restrictions.
• Storyfest for students in grades 4-8.
