English Additional Language Programs

The motto "School District 2 Welcomes You!" has been and continues to be our focus in the 38 schools throughout south-eastern New Brunswick. We are proud to offer an introductory English Language Program for immigrant students from K to 8, high school English Additional Language classes, tutors with extensive educational experience, continued support provided by school resource teams, and an excellent school bus service for qualifying students.

Moncton is a safe community with a thriving economy and has over thirty ethnic cultures residing among our 117,000 residents. Moncton also provides initiatives that protect Human Rights and increase cultural awareness. School District 2 partners with many agencies such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, who support a mentorship program for newcomers, and A Sense of Belonging, a new and exciting initiative for high school students funded by the United Nations.
